Default Nice little 6/8 in buffalo horn...

It's been pretty hot out in my shop recently, but I avoided heat stroke long enough to finish this nice little 6/8.

The horn has some nice figuring near the toe pin, and I'm very happy with how the scales came out as a whole. Very glossy.

Is that near wedge or quarter-hollow? In any case, it's sweet!

It's in my favorite size too should be one heck of a shaver.

Probably more like a quarter hollow. I use an 8" wheel on all of my razors right now, as a bigger one would be pretty spendy (several hundred dollars). So whatever an 8" radius does on a 6/8, that's what this is.

Nice! Very similar to the razor I have of yours. It is one of my favorite shavers and is absolutely beautiful and yes the mosaic pin is the finishing touch. Thanks for your work.

And where would this be available at? If it's someone's order, I'm sure they will be more than pleased with it. Beautiful work...

Very nicely done Josh! A classic look. I'm with you on hot shops. WHile I can use to melt away more than a few pounds I have trouble sweating into my glasses. Very unsafe.

Yep. Shiny like mirror. One of the reasons I love horn is that I can buff the spacer without risking ruining the scales themselves with residue from the buffing wheel.

Beautiful work. I love the mosaic pin.
I enjoy using horn too. Polish it up & it's finished! I'm very impatient & have been known to rush the finish stage, ruining all my previous efforts, so horn is great for me.
