Thanked: 12Basic MAAS question
Just got my first two tubes of MAAS. I have a dumb question. What is the most effective way to apply and use this stuff. The directions are vague. Do I need to buff it off with my dremel buffing attachment or all by hand or what?
Thanks Guys
Luke

Thanked: 2591I apply on a towel type of rag, say ~1" wide strip ~12"(usually the width of the rag) and then polish by hand, repeat 1 or two more times, then hand buff with clean rag. Works very well for me.

Don't be surprised when you see the cloth or rag turn pitch black, It means it's working. Just keep buffing. I like to use old cotton t-shirts.

+(pick a number)
I use papertowels and rub with my fingers till the gunk is gone, but not the patina

I'm the same, I put some on a cloth and polish with it.
I've also applied some to the blade and polished it off with a Dremel. You can see Lynn doing this in his DVD, and it works very well at shining up the metal. It wont remove any black gunk or patina though, so you need to remove all of that before you start.
