Default 8/8 Friodur Rescaled in Lava Acrylic

Here is one I just finished up tonight...

Big ole Honking 1 full inch of beautiful Stainless Steel from Henckles, I really like this style with the plain spine and the square point... I just like the clean lines, I actually wish I had bought this style for myself...

No blade work on this from me, just a straight re-scale, I used the Lava Acrylic on this with the Red-Orange body and Black and Blue swirl there are tiny flecks of gold that catch your eye too.. I changed up the wedge end to give it a slightly different look then my favorite flared style and still got the razor to balance on the tang... The acrylic was polished out through 12000 grit micro mesh followed by the Novus 1-2-3 system to get it like glass...

The pins are Nickel Silver, the triple stacked washers are Brass and SS, and the center pin has only a double stacked washer set... The center pin spacer is Silver...

This one will be sharpened on the full Naniwa SS system to bring out the smoothness on these big Friodurs..
I am going to look forward to a test shave tomorrow before she heads home...

Usually I'm not partial to acrylic but this came out really nicely. I like the gentle curve in the wedge end. Well done.

I love acrylic. It is relatively inexpensive, will last for years without the danger of the dreaded cell rot and comes in beautiful colors.

Great job Glen but that is par for the course when the sixgun man is doing the job.

Nice stuff Glen... I like the look of the scale material, and the third pin is really cool on this one.
