    Default Rescales from MI meet

first one here is for SRP user lead duck. he had a really nice Revisor with a cracked scale at the pivot pin that probably wouldn't have held much longer.

We matched the original scale shape, but changed from black plastic to translucent horn!

Second one here was gandrw's W&B (our host).

The scale design was pretty much drawn for me by Greg, and he also chose the turquois wedge, and requested the notch too, ala Philadelph's stuff.

I did what he asked and here was the result.. I personally don't like it too much but, Greg loves it, and thats what matters.

I personally am not a fan of turquiose wedges though it all is top quality stuff. I really like how you've managed to make such simple and petite scales for the Revisor, brilliant work as usual Brad. Nice one.

I'm in love with the patina and shape of the w+b i must say.

Oh my those are class! The rescale on that Revisor in particular. Faithful to the original, but better. Lovely work Brad. Horn's my favourite material to use. It's a pleasure to work with.

Both beautiful as always. The W&B is an interesting mix, old patina covered blade with old school horn for scales but with a very modern profile and wedge. I like it.

I love this razor, It's my best shaver to and even better since the get together where Bill S and Brad both spent some time helping me hone some of my razors. It was particularly cool getting to see the scales being made and being a part of the design proses.
