Thanked: 12Latest restore - boker in acrylic rescale
This was my first work with acrylic, learned alot. The blade was cleaned in my new tumbler due to the etching. The scale material wad from the scale shop. Came with basic shape. It took alot of hand sanding to get it right.
I will post before pics soon

Very nicely done! I was wondering about the Scale Shop scales. If someone is doing everything by hand I can see the appeal of purchasing the scales just cut but if you have a scroll saw or band saw available it's cheaper to cut your own. A coping saw or belt sander ban also get you there. The real work is in the finishing and you did a great job on the scales and blade!

Nice job!
That looks great! I dont usually like see through scales (just personal preference really!), but I really like those ones. They look awesome!

Top job ! Nice choice of scales.
