Restored my Genco "EASY ACES"
So i received my 2nd Genco "EASY ACES" in the mail about a month ago ( this one happens to have the sweet bowtie bolsters and a nice spike point) SO it needed some TLC it was pretty rusty in the pics and the scales were dirty but nothing that i couldnt handle. So started with the hand sanding progressions of
180,220,320,400,600,800,1000,1500,2000 and i finished it off with my dremel with some maas, mothers mag and aluminum , and turtle wax rubbing compound, which BTW its the one in the tube not the tub but could u use the one in the tub( r they the same thing?) anyway this thing was shining and gorgeous! I finished the scales pretty much the same way. Then ended with hand polishing for the finishing touches. I left some minor blemishes to remind me of where this razor came from but I love it , now i Just need to get it honed up and try her out !!!

Very nicely done! Wouldn't think it was the same razor.

Nice Job.. !!
I'm inspired to go shave with a GencoThe white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
