Smile 6/8 Nowill Sheffield Hollow Grind in Mun Ebony

This is one that I really liked the outcome on... Reds sent a couple across the big pond to me ...

This one had the real potential when i saw it so we went with a full custom restore on it...

Here is the before shot there was no bad rust and no hone wear but she was water stained bad and the scales were shot...

Reds wanted something with a touch of Gray to it and when I saw this piece on Mun Ebony that I had I just knew this was it... Very subtle in the Black wood you will find some Gray figuring peeking through I used about 10 coats of Poly to seal the wood..... I added a Gray acrylic wedge and all Silver hardware including the domed washers, to tie it all together... The finish is near perfect mirror, I just loved the way this one came together the whole razor just feels "right"
I am sure looking forward to a test shave with her in the morning..

Beautiful Job G-man. Blade turned out stellar. I alway enjoy seeing your lovely wooden scales.

I just finished an Ebony too... It was to be expected... HA

Looks great Glen. An harmonious blending indeed

I know I'm doing something right when I'm working ebony the same time you two are!

Looking great, Glen! Nice work on the edge profiling, that's a very nice fade you put on those!

Thanks for that Glen. That looks absolutely stunning and way better than I anticipated.

I can't wait until I get my hands on it
