Default Dubl Duck in Paua Shell

This Dubl Duck Started with wrong scales that were too short, heck it wouldn't even close.

I cleaned up the blade rust and made the scales with Paua shell from Masecraft.

From sheet stainless steel, I made some washers oversize. Domed them to make little half spheres. To keep their shape I stacked tappered washers behind them. Nickel rod was used, peening and polishing smooth. I like how they kinda look like shinny little pearls against the shell.

The wedge is red acrylic that has some white streaks in it.

    Sweet!

I really like DD's, mine are probably my best shavers, and re-scaled like that they look awesome! You should be really proud of that re-scale, thats a really great job!

Beautiful work. I love the pinning job you've done.

Very nice job, I appreciate the attention to detail you've put into things like your domed washers. It should be a wonderful shaver, and I wish you the best with it!

That razor is a handsome razor, I especially like the wedge and the pins.
