Nice job Grant !! Love the patina.

VERY inspiring!
Having dropped and breaking the shaft off a nice WB, this encourages me to do something with it yet. Thanks

Thanked: 1936I still haven't heard...how does it shave? Mine is absolutely wonderful & after seeing your post, I may do one again. I really like the way you worked the blade & cut the toe.

Thanked: 1072Thanks mate. I still haven't had a chance to hone it yet, I've spent the last couple of nights trying to set up a wireless router for my new laptop and I'm a computer moron. Its done now though, so hopefully tonight. It looks honed in some of the pics, but I just gave it a couple of swipes on my DMT 1200 to bring out the silver bevel and spine for the photos. I'll keep you posted.

Thanked: 1072Update
Made this cool little box for it yesterday. Didnt really think about storage when I made it, this works well though.
Honed it and test shaved, tweeked it a bit more on the new Thuri, 8 laps on the Chrome Ox, for a wicked sharp and smooth edge."I aint like that no more...my wife, she cured me of drinking and wickedness"
