Default WB 7/8 in Masur Birch

Had one last piece of masur birch left and this is my last rogue blade so no more restores for a little while. The masur is lined in black palm for added strength. The wedge is black horn. Did the scales in CA. (I hate working with CA.) After buffing it up, I decided it looked less shiny so I went over it a little with some 0000 SW. The WB is original - didn't do a thing to it. It's a shame the scales were nasty because it's one of the nicest natural blades I've ever seen. The rear pins are solid brass beads that still need to be ground and shaped a little. All in all, it came out pretty good. Blade is dead center to the scales and the weight is nice. BTW, by accident I caught a picture of myself on the blade when taking a shot. And I thought I wasn't photogenic....... ~S

What kind of razor is that? The tang stamp looks unfamiliar.

My favorite wood. That's a very nice job.

Wow that is a nice combo!
My fav wood too, as well as one of my fav grasses.
I have always wanted to work with masur, but I don't like to pay for wood. I actually was thinking of doing a similar thing.

Nicely done! I have a couple of Ramapo blades and like them a lot.
