Worked spine 8/8 spanish Henckels in resin Gabon Ebony
This was a straight up rescale. The blade is the well know scallop backed Spanish point Henckels Friodur set in some epoxy resin finished Gabon ebony. The wedge is bloodwood which contrasts the gloss jet black ebony. Pins are 1/16 brass rod with my usual brass over stainless washers. The kids got glitter on the patio table but it makes a nice accent to the razor. You can see the glitter in the high gloss finish of the wood.

Very, very nice. What kind of finish did you use to get the high gloss?

Very Handsome
How you like the shave on that beast? Do you do your own honing on it? Any more difficult than HCS? I have a humble dovo stainless & it seems to take an edge as well as any hcs I have (better than some).
