Default The Green Fairy in Jade Ghost

I was relaxing, sipping absinthe. Can’t say I was dancing with the Green Fairy, just kind of hanging out. Gazing into that milky green liquid, I realized how close in color it is to Jade Ghost G10. That led to reflect the process of mixing the drink, with the steps involved. This got me to think of other rituals, including the straight razor. Somehow I concluded this drink worthy of having a straight razor tribute.

Jade Ghost G10 scales. To mimic the spirit's pre-diluted color, green acrylic, with white and black streaks, for the wedge. Nickle pins, stainless and brass triple washers to hold together.

I felt fitting to use a French blade. This 7/8 is stamped Radiante. Not a bad match for the mood.

Lastly. I located some mirrored pair of brass fairies, for each side. Positioned facing the closed blade; Like a pair of chaperones, making sure razor is only opened when appropriate.

More pics available here if wanted.

Enjoy the weekend, maybe go dance with the Green Fairy.

Very nice DC. Being creative and coming up with a new twist in such a tastefull and traditional manner is inspiring. Very nice indeed!

The whole package works so well together. It is great to see somebody apply an event out of their life to a razor so successfully, even a small event. This razor tells a story. Bravo!
