Nice work. Love that oil finished Cocobolo.

ohhhhh. Looks so warm and inviting to be held. On top of that the notch is a nice accent and looks like it'd feel very natural to hold.
    Nice

Some better pics. I was so excited last night when I finished them I couldn't wait for daylight to post pics, so here are a few with better lighting.

Great work! Everything came out superb. I really like the shapes with the Ben Hur.

I love that idea! I'll keep that in mind next time I happen upon one that needs a rescale.

Edit: Perhaps consider polishing the pins with a little autosol on a piece of cloth, shines them right up. The daylight pics are stunning, that wood is awsome.

Very nice! I really like the cocolobo you used. I just cut a dozen or so slabs at 1/8" so I can start using it soon - can't wait. Your pinning isn't bad at all. Looks like maybe a little light sanding with 1K paper might smooth them out some. I like to drop my pins into domed washers - it seems to help the look and sort of hides the sides of the peening to an extent. I still sand/polish the pins but the domed washers helps. It doesn't hurt that it only takes seconds to dome them.
