Thanked: 993wow! again...the hunter orange is amazing, and the lack of a front pin just makes the whole thing bad_ss.

Awesome job. Love the no pin front end, and the blade looks so shiny it seems wet.

Thanked: 270For the most part I have conservative tastes, but I just love the cheerfulness that your bright orange scales bring to that razor.

Nice. Looks almost identical to the Dutch Rattler I restored a year or so ago for Ivo.

Well, I thought it was, but, got the bad news from the owner today --- the epoxy didn't survive the Postal service...
So, the question is, do I retry a different type of glue, or smack a pin in that puppy.......which I really don't want to do.....plus if i try a different kind of glue, I get to keep it for a week to do some "stress testing"...hahaha

Personally I would pin it, unless I was sure that the glue would not deteriorate over time and crumblem, and the scale material would not age over time and lose bonding. Razors are built to last, so the scales should be able to survive as well. At least for a couple of decades.
