Beautiful and puts me in the Halloween spirit
The (lack of) pinning leaves very clean lines

WOW. I made the above comment after viewing on the small screen of my phone. It looked great in that small screen. Seeing on full size monitor now is a joy. Very nice.Last edited by dirtychrome; 10-29-2010 at 02:54 AM.

Thanked: 2WOW
Is that your razor or are you just restoring it for someone. Either way you should give that thing a test run and see how it preforms.

Beautiful work, and I love the subtle structure of those micarta scales.

Awesome job. Love the no pin front end, and the blade looks so shiny it seems wet.

Well, I thought it was, but, got the bad news from the owner today --- the epoxy didn't survive the Postal service...
So, the question is, do I retry a different type of glue, or smack a pin in that puppy.......which I really don't want to do.....plus if i try a different kind of glue, I get to keep it for a week to do some "stress testing"...hahaha

Personally I would pin it, unless I was sure that the glue would not deteriorate over time and crumblem, and the scale material would not age over time and lose bonding. Razors are built to last, so the scales should be able to survive as well. At least for a couple of decades.
