Default Henckels Friodur w/ horn scales

I had this Friodur blade laying around without any particular fancy scales, so I decided to have it dressed with a nice dark horn scales.
I decided to make it slightly different than the "standard" round-ish scales, since the blade itself has a very elegant shape with the Spanish point and worked spine, I decided to make the wedge end slightly squarer and with a nice and long wedge in contrast with the darker handle halves.

    Here's the final result:

That is a nice work. The shape of the scales accompany the spanish pointed blade.
I have not had the chance to work with horn yet. Did you put any finish on the handles?

Very good Leon. Interesting piece of horn. Lots of nice figuring.

That longer wedge adds a lot to the razor. It centers that spine work when the blade is closed. I think that enhances its elegance when closed. It is also great in that it left a little more real estate to show off that pretty patten of the horn. Thanks for showing it off.
