Le Grelot P Hospital & Co - Butterscotch Micarta
Here's a Le Grelot P Hospital & Co that needed some work.
The pitting and staining was one issue but the rust/pitting had also narrowed the spine. Hard to tell from the before picture but the whole spine, upper blade side, area looked like a dog chewed on it.
Decided to give this one a regrind. Turned out stellar. Gave it a final mirror polish on my buffer after handsanding away the final grind marks.
Scales are butterscotch linen micarta with a tapered G10 Jade Ghost wedge, brass and silver nickel hardware for the washers and pins.
Have a great WK.

Holy crap!!! That is a serious transformation!! Beautiful, just beautiful! I recently picked up a hospital Le Grelot that I'm hoping to restore myself in some nice translucent horn once I get a little more experience.
