There really is nothing to maintain. I just keep it polished to waterproof it.

Man that is some sweet work. I have a greeves 7/8 that I want to do in giraffe bone, just need to find the bone.

That scale shape complements the squareness of the blade very well. Looks like you're having tons of fun with bone. Well at least 20lbs of fun! lol
