Default Henckels and Double Duck polished, scaled and mowing down whiskers

Both of these blades were in pretty bad shape to start with. They had both been sanded with 120 grit paper so there were some serious gouges in the steel. I cleaned them up as much as I could but you can only sand on a hollow ground razor so much before you ruin it. Both of them got a sanding to clean them up then a lot of time on the buffers to polish them.

The Double Duck is a Golden Edge 7/8, nice big blade. Dont see many large ones. It got scaled in some redwood burl.

The Henckels has a nice blade etching and is 6/8. It was scaled in epoxy resin finished Bacote.

Gave them a test drive this morning. They took a wicked sharp hone and shave like a dream.
