    Wow, is that a single piece? Or do you do both sides of the scales together? Your work is amazingly detailed it reminds me of the movement on a fine Swiss watch. What kind of blade is going to be matched with this art? It's hard to imagine a blade worthy of such fine scales.

    Yes, these scales are a single piece of 16 ga. nickle.
    JoeD sent me a W&B Masonic blade that will be going into these scales.

    oh, btw... here's an update for the end of the week
    the drilled holes you see on the reverse side are the starter holes for cutting out those sections of the scales.
