    Default W&B 13/16 Frameback Restore/Rescale

This is the latest one off the bench. A W&B Frameback reclothed in Black & Tan G10. Took me 3 attempts with the G10 to get these right as it's my first time working with it. Turned out ok though afterall Left the patina on the blade as there are some deeper pits and though the pics don't show it a very faint etching still remains. Orange cracked ice acryllic wedge and brass washers and pins top it all off. Comments more than welcome and thanks for looking

    Thumbs up

That's one heck of a gorgeous frameback . Nice job restoring it. I think you did good with the patina.

PS: I have one (I think almost exactly the same) that I snatched from Max (he did it in beautiful dark horn) which I featured in SOTD a few days ago. I love this blade

Nice work! Can you tell us what the problems you ran into working with the Micarta? I never used it, so it would be helpful to know.

Not so much the G10 itself but rather the black & tan layers...getting them just right without overdoing it and making it a mess or too thin.

Good job on the scales, I haven't tried working with G10 yet. As a side note, I have one of these razors and it's a great shaver.
