Default My best scales so far!

Well today turned out to be better than i thought. Grabbed some blades that i had done a little work on. I thought about make new scales then decided to use some old one that had bad blades in them.
Maher & Grosh i put into Light house scales. Kinda wish i didnt clean them. Doesnt show the detail.
    J.Rodgers&Sons into the black scales
Henckles 66 light pitting near the spine. These were the first scales i ever made. Out of cherry.

Ahh and the last. My best one so far. This blade i would love to send to Max to clean it up. I buffed it out a bit yesterday. Joseph Rodgers & Sons. Acrylic scales with a red wedge that has gold in it. Tiny bit showing in the front a few more on the bottom. Brass pins with bead caps. There is also a befor picture.

You sculpted the nose nicely to match the spine...let alone a lots of work on the rest. Good job!

Whats the story with the old scales on the Rodgers? In the before pic they appear to be on backwards??

    nick,
your work is amazing on those scales! I'm a newbie to the srp forum and straight razor shaving in general, but I really like the 1st razor and the last razor's scales, ALL are classy and tastefully done!
