Higgins in Ivory Acrylic / W&B in Black Acrylic
Dllandry was kind enough to stop my my place last week to hang out for a while, and he left me a pair of razors to rescale. The Higgins had no scales, so I made some in the vintage style. The W&B had the front scale in tact, so I matched the original pair as best I could and salvaged the spacer too.
Both were pinned with stainless washers and brass rod. I suggested it for the W&B, because I think it looks good on black scales, and the stainless washers match the wedge. Duane suggested it for the Higgins to offset the scale color, and I think he made the right choice.
I haven't buffed the pins yet (I like to do that after honing so I can re-tighten if things loosen up a bit), so the pins look a little rough.

You've kept a traditional look with modern materials. Well done.
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
