Default 10/8 Wostenholm IXL in Black Horn

This one was for a member here. It measures just shy of 10/8. Left a touch of pitting, but buffed it up to a high mirror finish. Centers dead on, nice thin scales and simple washers with a brass lined black horn wedge.

Classy as all heck, beautiful blade. It took some time on the hones, but, the shave was butter smooth.. really didn't wanna send this back to the owner.. I even offered to buy it off him. lol.

Very clean and classic, a beautiful job. I understand what you mean about wanting to keep it,I bet the test shave was smooth and comfortable.

A classy job. Not the flashiest scales out there but that just helps to accent the huge blade. I like the lined wedge adds just the right amount of something special. You know it's a large blade when the tang has 4 lines of text in it and still has extra room.
