W&B 8/8 Spike in Abalone....
This is a W&B 8/8 Spike. The scales are a 3 layer acrylic, there is a thin layer of Abalone sandwitched between a black and clear acrylic. The wedge is Jade G-10 and the pins are brass with brass domed washers.

Nice!!!
I really like it. I'm sure the sandwich acrylic adds a depth to the scales that is pretty cool.

Great job! The abalone is not my thing but the workmanship on the blade and scales looks first rate - well done.

I tell ya what, I didnt even order the stuff and probably would not have, it was a freebie/sample from Masecraft. But soon as I seen it in my hand I knew I had to do something with it. The pics dont do it justice the abalone/acrylic has some real depth when your holding it in your hand looking at it, pretty cool stuff
