    Once i have it in my hands I'll have a shot at making some sort of stand for it. I have some ideas bouncing around my head right now, but I think it will be a 5 blade stand instead of one blade...

    Anyone have any suggestions for this Joseph Smith & Sons Diamond Edge Microtome? I might consider turning this one into a Japanese style razor............

    Glenn's design is very pleasing to the eye.

    Glenn, I'm very late in on this one, but please accept a belated round of applause from me for this one. Somehow I'd missed the Kamisaurus thread too - ain't it typical: I get one microtome and have no idea what to do with it, then two showstopping threads come my way at the same time
