Real amazing job you've done here. Those scales are beautiful.
I've made few knife handles etc small stuff of cow bones. Nothing to show here. However as strong (more than 16%) hydrogen peroxide is, eh, little hard to get here these days i've used strong chlorite solution instead and it works ok too.
For those of you who haven't worked with strong hydrogen peroxides remember to be careful as there's few risks when used carelessly.'That is what i do. I drink and i know things'

Turned out wonderful.
Above and beyond the look is knowing you literally hand picked and processed the scale material.
Have you done scales from raw bone before? If not, it's gotta be a charge doing a "first time" project and ending up with those beautiful results. Either way, it's like all your work, coming out stunning.

'Very beautiful, Glen. I'm working deer antler now, on a buck I did take locally here.
Did you do any 'stabilization'? Epoxy coat or fill for the anter or bone?
They do look top notch.
