Great looking resto work there, and the scales rock!
The dropped spine is an unusual design, sort of looks like there is a piece missing? Take a look at the pics in this post

Ha! I see what you are getting at, but the spine is 1/4 inch thick. I don't think a frame pressed over it would be condusive to a shaving edge. I have seen few other dropped spine razors myself and this is the first Henckels I have seen for sure. Also, while I did not catch it in the pics, the bottom jimps run from 1/4 inch above the pin hole completely around the finger notch down to the bevel! An unusual blade for sure. Thanks!

That is perhaps the most complementary comment I have recieved in my short tenure with SRP. I Thank You and would like to thank all the folks who liked it! I am glad to have built and shared it and also appreciate the forum. I might do another one soon. Hard to keep up with some of these fine folks! Merry Christmas!

That's a great job on a great looking razor.
Is the bone carving your work too ?The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Thanks for posting Sharptonn !
Lovel razor; hats off ! Another passion (obsession says She...LOL!) is dirtbikes, especially vintage ones. I can't figure out for sure what Honda model / year that is. Not a vintage one for sure (rear brake master cylinder gave it away). Please enlighten me !

Thank You! Thats my "modern" bike. A 92 Cr250 all enduroed up with an E-line lighting kit, fatty, black plastic and just about every spacer and guard known to man! Good one. My stable consists of a 73 CZ 250, a 76 Husqvqrna 250 6 speed, a 65 Triumph 650, and minibikes, esp a fully restored MR50! Vintage bikes are big here in Houston. I can throw a rock and hit my buddies at Circle F exhaust and Jemco exhaust! Pipes are no problem! Merry Christmas!
