Thanked: 14Peaso
Here is a couple of pix of some scales I made for my Peaso razor. I used Leopard wood and transfered the inlay from the old, broken scales. Unfortunately, during assembly, I dropped the blade and ruined it. I am trying to decide to either buy another razor or just sell these. Either way, I think they look cool.

Thanked: 1371What an innovative design! Usually the tang sticks out the other end.
Nice work on the inlay.
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

That is a bummer about the blade. The grain/pattern in the wood came out perfect on those scales, they look great.

Thanked: 14The blade in the second pic was used to hold the scale so I could take the pic. It is not attached. Sorry for the confusion. lol

Thanked: 14About 1/2" of the tip of the blade broke off. Any thoughts on just shortening the razor?

Thanked: 14That looks very nice. I have decided to shorten the blade and modify the scales to fit.

Hmmmmmmmmm, I just picked up a Peaso on eBay with boring black plastic scales. If you do decide to get rid of them, please drop me a PM. I think they'd look very nice on my Peaso.
As a matter of interest, how hard are the inlays to take off? I've got a Wusthoff that came with broken scales. I've got a replacement set on it but I'd love to take the Trident inlay off the old ones and glue it on the replacements.
