Default Joseph Rogers & Sons Military Razor

My wife found this razor in an antique shop in Pittsboro NC. It was probably forged in the 1850s or 1860s. When first seen it was laying in a wicker basket full of old silverware. the original scales were black horn of the same shape, but they were pretty much eaten by bugs. The blade was blued and I think that's what preserved it from rusting too bad. After restoring the blade I renewed the bluing(not as dark as it was originally). Etched into the blade are the words "Military Razor". I don't know for sure if it was carried by the blue or the grey, but I like to think it was.
