Default My fully restored razors: AND PROUD OF 'EM!!!

    Gents,

A long time ago i bought several razors of the "bay"; not exactly my "cup of tea", since i did not know all the things that one needs to know concerning.
Eventually i wound up with two razors: a W&B 4/8 (affectionately calling this one my "Baby Razor") and a Geo. Wostenholm.

The only thing that was necessary, was a complete restore. Since i do not know anything about this sort of thing, i needed to make a choice WHO i would give this work to. THAT was one of the hardest parts IMHO. So many beautiful restores to be seen here.... so many excellent craftsmen ......... but a choice had to be made. I decided to let Maximilian do the restoration work......... I think the end result pics speak for themselves!!

    For the W&B: "Kingwood" scales
For the Geo. Wostenholm: "Bolivian Rosewood" scales

    For your consideration:

    before

    after

    before

    after

(End result pics courtesy of Maximilian!!)

I can hardly wait for these babies to arrive!! Thank you very much for everything, Max!!

    Regards,

    RazorBack

Finding these two razors was sheer luck; the restoration a work of art!!,

Nobody does it better than Max. Thanks for the before photos, that way you can really see the contrast. You have a couple that you can hand down to your grandchildren and they to theirs.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
