    Default New to making scales

    Here are some of my first tries.So far Im pretty satisfied.

    Very interesting, I like to look at the more artistic designs. May I ask a question without offending? What fueled your decision to keep the scales square instead of beveling the edges? I ask this not because it should be done, but rather it is nice to see something outside of the norm.

    Tools are limited right now.I was going to bevel by hand,but the beefy feel of the edges seem not to slip,so I stuck to it.No offense taken.

    Nice first efforts Al. Being a traditionalist I like the second from the end but being a tattoo artist and collector I like the skull & crossbones too. I'm sure there will be more to come down the road.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
