    Default Mutant Hybrid #2

As soon as I shaved with my first one of these http://straightrazorpalace.com/custo...ade-thing.html I started looking for the next one, I like it that much. The shortened Bengall with the pitting on the spine and bent tang issues in the back of the cupboard looked like a good choice.
I actually finished the blade for this months ago, but because I spent most of 2010 away from home I've only just finished it now. The old tang has been ground down to make a new slim tang which is sandwiched between the 2 piece acrylic handle. The blade has been re-shaped and blued and fixed in the handle with epoxy and a NiAg pin through the original pivot hole.
I've made some minor improvements on the original design and this thing feels great in the hands.
    Hope you like it
    Grant

I really like it, Great Job!
The only problem is I don't know which I like better, the razor or the case.
    Outstanding.

You have a great eye for design, the razor and box look like a million bucks. The rough finish and knot on the box are genious. The razor has great lines.

Very nice baldy!! Razor looks mean and has a certain elegance to it at the same time. The custom case for it is absolutely beautiful as well!

Thanks Charlie, that means a lot coming from you. I am a huge fan of your work. I'm sure your aware that the case is inspired by what I've seen on your site.
