Congratulations This is a very nice razor - but outstanding for a first made razor. Have fun with it.

All I can say is Wow! I cannot imagine (and cannot wait for) what will come in the future. Not only did you make an incredible blade but those scales are something completely out of the box. Beautiful - Congrats!

Wow! Max, you have truly outdone yourself. This is absolutely phenomenal looking. I love the scales, and they compliment the razor so well.

It's such a pleasure to see a master craftsman work his trade, and you certainly fit that bill!

I'm a huge fan of this razor, as I am most of your work.

Max showed me the scale material as the sample had just arrived and he had that razor in a different set of scales to test shave with. I brought the razor over to the scale material and said, "wouldn't this thing look great with a set of scales of this material?". It didn't take me much convincing for him to start making those scales right away! A few hours later and he had finished peening the scales to the razor. It wasn't quite finished as Max took even more time the next day to put the finishing touches on it.

The balance is great and the edge is superb. But the look of a custom like that just cannot be described in words; I've only seen pictures of custom razors. I was like a kid on Christmas morning looking at this thing and watching Max delicately craft them. The finished product looks even better.

    I'm first on the list!
