    Default Wester Bros. #17 restoration

Here are some before and after pics of a Wester Bros. Anchor Brand #17 razor. I bought this 5/8 from Ebay a while back. I had the good fortune of coming across Bob Keyes while looking for a shop to have the razor restored. He did a remarkable job and this straight shaves like it probably did in 1910 when it was new! The first two are the "before" pics. If anyone has any tips for taking great pics of razors...please post them. Thanks a lot Bob.

Nice restore on the razor! This is one brand that has alluded by grasp. I come across a bunch but never pulled the trigger. Well I finally got my mitts on one a few months ago and really like the shaves and feel of the razor. I;m sure you will find it to be a great shaver.
