Default My first restore El-Fenix Frame-back

i spent some time getting my hands dirty with this frame-back.

and then my first attempt at peen-ing the pins was pretty good. After watching all of the videos and reading the threads, i could "visualize" all of the little comments and tips that everyone talks about.. really proud of myself right now!

I need better lighting, darn shadows and crappy droid camera function...

    it's a fingerprint magnet now!

Looks like you did a fine job! That rascal should be a great shaver...I'm personally fond of framebacks. If you haven't gotten to honing yet, I'm sure we can work something affordable out (shipping) if you will contact me via PM.

Awesome job! It looks great, and good pinning job as well. What progression did u use for the blade to get it cleaned up?

thanks, i started with some 60 grit for some of the bad pitting ending up with deep scratches, and then moved to 220, 500,800,1000,1200,1500,2000 followed by mag polish...

i just used what i had and then only thing i didn't use was 80. I probably need something between 80 and 220.
