My first restore El-Fenix Frame-back
i spent some time getting my hands dirty with this frame-back.
and then my first attempt at peen-ing the pins was pretty good. After watching all of the videos and reading the threads, i could "visualize" all of the little comments and tips that everyone talks about.. really proud of myself right now!
I need better lighting, darn shadows and crappy droid camera function...
it's a fingerprint magnet now!

Thanked: 1936Looks like you did a fine job! That rascal should be a great shaver...I'm personally fond of framebacks. If you haven't gotten to honing yet, I'm sure we can work something affordable out (shipping) if you will contact me via PM.

thanks, i started with some 60 grit for some of the bad pitting ending up with deep scratches, and then moved to 220, 500,800,1000,1200,1500,2000 followed by mag polish...
i just used what i had and then only thing i didn't use was 80. I probably need something between 80 and 220.
