Thanked: 132452 Japanese Solgen #75 - 2 people - 2 very different approaches
As the title states these are two of the Japanese Solgen #75 razors but they are from two different people.. I had two totally different ideas from these guys on how they wanted their razors customized...
First was the one from fbones/Frank who wanted a Red and White theme but a slightly different red... We chose a Russet swirl with a Pearl White wedge.. Now the trick was getting the 3rd pin in there like Frank wanted but it worked out rather well I will let him find the surprise center post in there when the razor gets home I followed the same basic line on the wedge end as the razor itself then balanced her up...
Second a total custom conversion for our very own LZ6/Bob he wanted a radical departure so we picked a Kamisori conversion on his... I used Smoke acrylic and cut and fitted the tang into the handle... It is all held together with Acra-Glass bedding tinted to match...
I hope both you guys like the razors because I sure had fun doing both at the same time

Superb Glen! I am in awe! Thanks for translating my thoughts for this superb blade into reality. Can't wait to shave with her. Now I not only covet mine I covet Franks as well. Beautiful work on both.

Thanked: 240Wow.. Both are beautiful but that kamasori style just tickles me something awful.... And I was just thinkinghow I was happy with all my razors.... Ah well maybe in the future I'll have to have something done to my original Japanese solgen. Great work

Luverly eye candy The russet swirl looks great & I like the pointy tail on the kamisori style.
