    Very nice work. Can you give me some more detail on what you've done on the tang, and whats that wedge made of.

    I've sanded the tang and glued horn with epoxy :



    wedge is made with aluminum.

    Do you have more inbetween photos to prove that is the same blade?

    Its hard to believe it is.

    You're nasty to me because my English is very bad ...
    I started by removing the rust by sanding with coarse paper
    Then I cut the round nose with dremel and a cutting disc
    I dug barber's notch with a small diamond file.
    I refined the tang with a belt sander, then polish the blade.

    Then it only remained to glue the horn, sand and polish it and make the scales

    Wow, this is a great idea. Just as good as the one in the thread titled Junkyard Dawg. Next time I have an average looking razor, I think I'd like to try this. Covered tangs look really nice IMO. Thanks for laying out the steps.

    That's a wonderful save from a razor so far gone most would not have bothered with it. You brought it back to life and even made it shine. That's a razor I'd be proud to have in my rotation. A job well done!
