Default P. Fritisse in gabon ebony

This is P. Fritisse, Special Pour Barbe Dure 7/8 round point. The blade is quite heavy for a hollow ground razor. It feels more like a wedge. The blade has some nice etching so I could not do an extensive buff on it without removing the etch, which would be a shame. I gave the blade a light polish to clean it up. It was free of pitting and only has light pantina spotting. I decided to put this one in some high gloss Gabon Ebony scales. I used my usual brass over stainless washer set-up and 1/16 inch brass rod for the pins. The wedge is cocobolo and will turn a darker brick red over time. I have not used this brand of blade before. It shaves very, very nice and looks pretty good as well. The blade appears to be NOS with zero hone ware.
