    Default 6/8 100MnCrW4 and Copper

That is my first real Straight razor fully efficient. I did some prototype but each time there was something wrong.

100MnCrW4 5,9mm thick , oil hardening, flash tempering. 15,3 cm long, edge 7 cm.
    Hollow grind with 150mm wheel.
    It's more or less a 6/8

The handle is in copper, i used a copper tube i cut and flattened. The handle is polished but i keep some "belt mark" in order to keep a rough style.
Paper micarta for the spacer and stainless screw, BP washer.

Sharpening, the grind is 0,1mm thick and after, Japanese stone 800, 1000, 3000, 5000, 12000, jean and red compound, leather and green compound, and leather.
That is the best shave i obtained with one of my prototype. IT's more or less as good as his model, and just a bit less good than my favourite straight razor.
    Weight 90g.

That is a cool looking razor. The copper scales look great. I bet the copper will look cool after it ages for for a while.

I am a big fan of your folding knives, it is good to see you posting here.

That is amazing! I wish I had that talent..I tried to make scales and they looked like a chewed up popsicle stick.....My scales look like Max's...but on acid..

Nice looking razor. I really like the profile of the thumb notch and tang. Great work!
