W&B Invincible 6/8 in faux tortoise...
Had the razor for about six months and finally got around to dialing in the hone job until it shaves perfectly. Now it was sitting in a set of replacement scales that someone had done a poor job of maybe 80 years ago.
At any rate, I've never built a set of scales from scratch before and have absolutely NO tools to do it. So I picked up some washers from Microfasteners, the nickel-silver and faux tortoise is thanks to Texasknife. All the hand tools were courtesy of Harbor Freight. Got up this morning and unpinned this guy and marked a set of scales on the tortoise sheet and commenced to coping it out by hand, followed by hand sanding. I haven't received my wedge material yet from Masecraft, so I repurposed the old celluloid wedge into the new scales and pinned it all up.
This is my first pin job ever (I'm not counting the Dovo pins I've used), first scales....my first EVERYTHING.
