2nd Razor in Damascus

Sounds very good and the knifes are even much nicer. My AEB-L is also too thin for a razor, it has only 0,14 inch. But perhaps I can forge it sometimes in a san-mai with a other stainless steel.
How you make the heat treating for the AEB-L?

Austenitize at 1930* f for 10 min. fast air, oil, or plate quench. Cryo quench, temper at 345*f twice for one hour.

Sh*t, I dont have the possibility for the Cryo. So I dont can make the heat treatment by myself

So long as this is only for a cryogenic treatment of room temperature metal i.e. not hot, acetone and dry ice will give a bath of -78C. Just don't use styrofoam as your container; acetone will dissolve it nicely.
