    Default My little honey...

Wife got me this razor last year for my birthday...I liked the patina on it. It was the first successful honing job I had accomplished and has always provided me with a great shave. The only thing was that the looks were a bit drab for my tastes.

I spent the last few days rebuilding it to show off what it could really accomplish. All the patina came off with a bit of coaxing but the blade still retains a bit of satin finish to it that looks just as nice as the patina. The tang, on the other hand, polished out to mirror++ finish and I'm pretty stoked over that. Had a couple pieces of Honey Ox here and decided that it was time to get it all put together. The scale design was a wostenholm design from about 15 years before this razor was made and still suits the razor. Hardware is brass and the wedge is recon stone...

    Sweet!

Nice job on getting that wedge flush, and I like the delicate taper of the scales at the pivot.

Nice job. The scales are a perfect match for the blade.

I LOVE that wedge. A good wedge can really take a pair of scales from "Nice" to "Gorgeous".
