The razor and scales looks very nice! My question is this: Where did you find the fossilized bone and tusk??

Knife and Gun finishing supplies has some now and then, also, Charles Turnage deals in wooly mammoth stuff.

    Good luck

Beautiful razor Hoss! We are so lucky to have several custom razor makers who understand that a straight razor can be museum quality artwork as well as an amazingly efficient shaving instrument. Wow!

Darn! Mvcrash beat me to it, you have everyone here jealous of this friend of yours. Not only is the pattern of the blade perfect, but the shape of the blade is also great nothing too fancy yet a perfectly executed soft French point with a slightly smiling edge. Really very classy. Oh and the scales nice. I like how everything is done so as not to take away any attention from the great feather pattern.

    WOW!!!
My jaw is all bruised up, it keeps slapping the corner of my desk on its way to the floor...

This has got to be one of the most incredible razors I have seen... art. Absolutely art.
