Old IXL with Green Abalone scales
Blade - 5/8 George Wolstenholm & son IXL / Sheffield England
Grind - Quarter hollow
Wedge - Black G10
Pins - Sterling silver
Scales - Custom Green Abalone
This blade was in great condition when I got it a few months ago, although i did not like the scales that were on it. I decided to leave the blade in it's original condition. I think it looks nice in it's antique state, with a couple of stains.
What do you guys think about leaving blades like this one in it's original condition?
