Thanks to every one for your kind comments. The scales are Swordfish bill (sword) with a purple dye, stabilized in super thin CA and coater in a sandable epoxy. The wedge is hippo tusk ivory. The design is completely Zomax's. If you like it, he deserves the credit.

Well as the proud owner of an OCD razor, I'm going to say beautiful design by Zomax, brought to wondrous life by the skilled craftsmanship of a master custom razor maker, Bob Allman. My own OCD razor is a beautiful example of Bob's work as well, and a joy to use. Although I do admit to some trepidation leading up to the first use. Like coming up to a Jolly Green Giant before you realise he's Jolly...A certain amount of trepidation in getting up close and personal. Then relief at finding out he's a joy to be around...Yeah I know, I'm a bit weird sometimes.

The swordfish scales are really amazing. They look and feel great and compliment the blade nicely.

As soon as I opened this page, the song Dream Weaver started playing in my head. Hahah, seriously though, that is one amazing razor. I love the spanish point with barbers notch combo, combine that with a nicely flowing monkey tail and WOW!
