I wish my matching friodur had such a nice pair of scales

No ,no, no , not stupid at all. Especially when cut with a properly polished Yanagi the rainbow colours from the oil will show up on the flesh.

Although I like the pretty lady analogy, I too really like the salmon comparison.

A nice piece of salmon cut for nigiri or sashimi is beautiful in color and simplicity. So much anticipation to pick it up and enjoy. Same I feel for this razor.

I shared with jcsixx this razor is still sitting on my desk (completing some others for him yet), and I keep picking it up, rolling in my hands to admire.

Also ScoutHikerDad mentioned he put as desk top. I realized these are lower resolution images, and so are the normal ones I put on my site. I put some high resolution images up here if anyone wants any

Thanks again to all for the encouragement and comments

I am still looking at this masterpiece! A desktop is in order for me as well. The pecision fit of the pearl is truly awesome. Thanks for sharing this, Walt!

Great scales for a wonderful shaver!
I love all the ways these razors can be scaled.
Your version is one of the best I've seen
