Thanked: 39You need to say that they are custom scales, not homemade.
Nice work

The finish looks good. Looks like It would be comfortable to hold while shaving too.

Those are some really cool scales! And on a Dovo too! Sweet setup man!
I dare you to find the safety (you know, the one where you can switch it on or off) on a Glock. I also dare you to find the aesthetics, but hey, not everyone wants a sexy looking gun. When it comes to functionality though, you can't really beat a Glock.
Hey facebutcher, I'll loan you a pic of my newest toy. I think it matches the steel/wood thing you got going on. If you got the photoshop skills, feel free to add your razor in there. Here ya go!

Nice. When I get back from the range today I was thinking a pic with the M1A. Gotta good shave this morning and now am headed to the range. Could not ask for a better outlook today. One day I will build up the nerve to drill an 1/8" hole in my 6/8. Why don't they call a 6/8 a 3/4.

It's easier to compare with other size blades. Would it be easier to read blades with sizes:
1/2 - 5/8 - 3/4 - 7/8
OR:
4/8 - 5/8 - 6/8 - 7/8
It just puts all of the more popular sizes on the same level so you can tell without doing any math where they all lie in relation to each other.

I like the scales. I wish that I had a few more tools to give the one piece thing a try. BTW, what kinda wood are they made of?
