    Default Ivory Elliot project

I am getting some things put together and this is my latest project. I had dismissed these scales as bone until I unpinned the junk blade and began to clean/sand them. A long grain appeared and I figure the stains were there to stay, so I decided on this 6/8 Elliot bade with a cool spine and some "patina" of it's own. I need to buff those pins a bit more! I wish I had better skills/camera. It is nice in person! Thank You for Looking!

Looking at this is one is satisfying. Seeing original pics with the wore out blade, and average scales it started ho humm. Cleaned up and polished the scales look great. Then the great match chosen for the finished blade. A job well done.

Very nice work, great results. I really appreciated the way you sequenced the photos as well.

Thanks, Mitch! That it purely an accident caused by the new photo stuff. I have it kindof figured out, but the photos do not load as I put them in. In this case, however, I got the junk and then the pop! I left it alone!

Nice Job. Wouldn't have thought the big blade would fit.

Yes, it does ride a bit "high" , but it IS 4/20! (kidding of course~!) I actually was trying a bigger blade, but talked myself out of it.The heel is pretty close to the bottom, so the original wedge was the perfect one!

I think they look fine a little high with the notch exposed.
